Smile Power Commander Map

I have a cbr 600 f4i and bought it used with a power commander. I'm trying to tune it for the summer, but does anyone know how the map should look? Where exactly should higher numbers be and negative numbers be? I have an MF exhaust and there isn't a preset map for that. I've been going off of trial and error to see what works best, but I just want something else to go off of...hopefully. THANK YOU!!!!

Just try different maps to see what works best for you. The best route to go however is by getting a custom map at a shop.

yeah, that's basically what I ended up doing. I eventually found a map that works. Getting it tuned at a shop is expensive and if anything I've learned to not buy a bike with a power commander.

I hear that's the same as running the zero map...which kind of sucks. Well right now I have a good map, but is it difficult to remove?

All you need is a laptop and the USB wire so you can swap maps without detaching from the bike. The software is free to download from PowerCommanders website as well as the maps. It only takes a few seconds to flash a new map and the software is pretty fool-proof. There are many maps so pick one that is close to your setup.

i only said you can remove it if it bothers you that much because you said you've learned not to buy a bike with a power commander. i never said it was a good idea to do so. i really see no point in removing it though if you say the zero map is the same as having no power commander. so yeah just load a zero map since its the same thing. it literally takes like 2 min.
