Power commander III
Just wandering what the main purpose for these are. I have a high mount micron exhaust right now but thats about it for performance. I would like a little better throttle response and what not. I really would like some insight on what kind of improvements this has made on your F4i's.
THanks guys!!

Throttle response was the most improvement I noticed. Maybe some more low end power, but primarily the ability to use the throttle more evenly throughout the powerband. No more un-wanted blips and less hesitation.
alright thanks thats what i thought. I definately would like a better throttle response. How do you get the special maps for your specific bike??I have a bike shop in town but they mainly work on choppers and cruisers, dont know if they would do it!
I have a PCIII on mine.THe maps online are OK but to get the best out of your parts a custom map is the best.Dyno jet can tell you if there is a dyno hop that can tune yours..ALso check with local sportbike riders to see if they know of any good places.
With the pcIII and custom map the bike now drives like a whole new bike..No harshness when coming on and off the throttle. Its butter smooth thru the WHOLE twist..Its scary smooth.I had to adjust my riding style because i was use to the harshness/notchy feeling the bike had before.

I am about 2 hours from dynojet headquarters in belgrade montana and have had an offer to good a custom tune done, almost worth buying one just to get it custom tuned, I am only planning on doing a two bros pipe for motor mods, but would prob get a bmc race filter before dyno run.
