I'm having this terrrible noise coming from what sounds like the cam chain. maybe the tensioner?

The bike is a 2003 CBR600f4I..i think i have heard somewhere that this is a common problem with these bikes..anyways i want to get that fixed before i dump money into new fairings and subframe ECT.

any advice as to what i should do?

 

the only advice i can can say is if your not sure what it is take it to your local shop and ask them about it and see what they say man....

It's also impossible to gauge what your problem is without knowing what kind of noise it is.

 

CCT maybe?

 

haha..my bad.. it just sounds like a loose chain really..just ratteling when you wrap it up past like 4k RPM


im pretty sure it is a CCT

but thought i should ask.
