I'm planning to change out my tires in the spring.

RE: PLEASE HELP: I NEED TO REMOVE MY REAR TIRE
if i were you i would seriosly consider taking it to a shop and having them do it. cause replacing tires with hand tools is a BITCH! and radial tires are not designed to you use hand tools on.. thats cause the tires have steal all around in them! it will cost you about 50 bucks to have them remove the old one and have the new one put on AND ballenced you just have to remove the wheels your self.. if you ride in ride out it will be between 80-100 bucks.. so do your self a favor and just take it to the shop, your bike will thank you... plus if anything gets screwed up on the tire the dealer is going to back you up sence they put on the tire..

i change my own tires and its not really all that bad. actually if you buy tires from cycle gear it only costs 20 bux for them to mount and balance it if you bring in the loose rim. but as for changing the tires yourself i would say it would take me about an hour each side to change out the front or the rear wheel witht the rear taking alittle longer since its a pita to get everything all lined back up in the end to put the axle back in
