i got 2 plugs in my rear tire and the treads are down to the wear indicators, but my fromt tire has no plugs and still has a lot of meat left. im going to replace just the rear but, im thinkin of getting a bridgestone bt014 for the rear,which has a different tread pattern then the bt010 that i have on both front and back right now,oem ties.

would it be ok to have different tread pattern on the bike.i dont want to buy a front tire yet cuz i dont need it. please let me know wat u guys think i need to order this tire soon so i can go ride. thanks in advance

 

people have mixed and matched befor ..but i personally wouldnt ..just for the fact that different tires are different compounds and they heat up at a different rate, probably not that big of a deal ..so its really your call

 

I'd get 2 new ones.

 

yes 2 new ones or same rear tire, i wouldnt mix and match either.
