Default PCIII questions

Well I ended up getting a PCIII USB because it was too good of a deal to pass up. Anyway, it looks like they make a little difference in power, but mainly make smoother power? I'm not going to dyno tune right now because I just have a K&N and slip-on so it seems like a waste. But from my experience building and tuning cars, all the power lies in the timing maps, and my question is does anyone have the ignition module for the PC and how do they like it? Also, is there any room for advancing the timing more on our bikes or are they alreaady at MBT? It would seem logical that they would have a little extra room for error, bad fuel...etc

if you want to advance timing with the PCIII then you should've bought the PCIIIr which allows for timing adjustments. as is, it only adds or removes fuel.

from what i know, the PCIIIr has not been used with much success...little things here and there.

yea, I've read some posts on forums from people that owned the PCIIIr and didn't like it at all, I was hoping the ign mod on the new one was better

you may still be able to get an aftermarket one from yoshimura or someone else.
if you go with full system, dyno tune and velocity stacks...you will be able to get roughly 10 HP...but smooth out your powerband with the dyno tune and that 10 will feel sooo much better and the bike will be quicker.

you know how it goes...you get 10 peak HP but when you smooth it out...you can pick up all types of HP at different RPMs making the bike pull hard all the way through.

it seems like no one on this forum has the yoshimura system on their bikes, just power commanders. Also I havent been able to find any velocity stacks for F4is, who makes them?
