To PCIII, or not to PCIII. That is the question.
One of the great questions of our world. Do I install a PCIII or not? I have heard both sides from my friends, so I turn to you all. I am currently running a Two Brothers slip-on and have a 520 conversion with 16/45 sprockets. Now, I want a little more horsepower from the bike but have been told that putting a PCIII on a 2Bros is pointless.
I have also read a lot of threads of people having pretty crappy problems with them as far as installation and bike reliability. So, 'IN MY SITUATION', should I go ahead and install the commander or do I leave well enough alone?

you wont loose any HP from installing one. You will get the ability to tune which may gain a few ponies. With just a slipon you will prolly just gain a smoother hp n torque curve with a good tune (smoother throttle). Never heard of any relibility issues from installing a PC III tho. Maybe if someone half assed installed or some bs like that.
I've dwelled on the same subject so i decided to try the cheaper of my choices and went -1 in front and +3 in rear loved the little boost of torque so i got a speedo healer and was done been happy ever since. The commander is fricken expensive and if you dont have a full exhaust i really dont see the need for it. I've also ridden one that had stock gearing and a power commander and really I thought it felt stock. now this could have been the person who tuned it ( and finding a good tuner even seems to be tough, another reason for me not to get one) but any way the sprocket and speedo healer cost me $150.00 and i installed them thats a nickles worth of info for ya
