Older Mileage F4i's Come In Side

2001 F4i
17K (ok ok, so maybe not high mileage but Ive just about dbl'd it in 5 months)
CCTL Repl at 11k.
Speed Sensor issue but Im waiting till summer to repl.
Added HIDs (stock lights very poor vis)
Bike is cosmetically perfect. Never down. In fact most bolts still had the "snap" when I loosened them.
This is my first Bike since 1984 and I must say I couldnt be happier with this used Siickle.
At 17k should I be concerned about a valve adj?

Bike: 2001 F4I
Mileage: 18,200
Problems: Needs cctl replaced, slight valve tick at idle, may be due to cctl but going to have the valves checked this winter. Other than that it's never let me down, not even when my buddy on his 07 600RR wanted to see if his bike accelerated any faster. Whether you believe it or not it didn't. Neck and neck from 25 to about 117. Proud day for me that day.
