Default Oil/Start Help Please!

I got my bike back from 12 mo service today from the cycle place. I assumed they changed the oil. I was wrong. I am riding my bike normally and turn it off to get a cramp out of my leg in the parking lot. I try to turn it on but it won't. The red malfunction light is on with a blinking oil pressure icon. The fuel pump doesn't prime. I look at the oil and it's low. I add approx 1.5 quarts to get it between the guages. It still won't prime/start.

1. If I disconnect/reconnect the battery will it "reset" the sensor?
2. Does this sound like a fuse?

This is literally the most stressed I've ever been.

Advice, please. Thank you so much.

this is going to sound really dumb but. did you have the bike straight up n down when you checked and added oil?? maybe just the pump went bad or the relay

YES, I hit the kill by accident. Noob city. Got it started, but now the red malfunction still lights pre-start and the oil blinks. I replaced the oil with 3.5 quarts and the oil is the correct amount with the bike straight up. How do I make the oil light go away?

just fill it to within the sight glass when the bike is straight up. the oil light also blinks if its the oil pressure is bad but i think it should be fine. Does the light go away after you start it, not just turn the key?

I changed the oil and added the correct amount (3.5 quarts), and had it lined up with the bike up straight. The red light and oil icon show until the engine starts, which I've read is correct. She runs great!

THANK YOU, itsme71190 and backyardmechanic for putting up with my inexperience.

i hit the kill switch at a light one time and almost lost my mind lol .. good rule of thumb some times you forget but . key on red button in the run postion. and since the new bikes dont have petcocks any more cant make sure you dident hit that lol.. its happened to most every one at some time or another
