10 qt. Oil Drain Pan

Usually get ours at Autozone- you don't need one that big, we do several bikes at once is all.

local shop charges 70$ for just an oil change, or 150$ for a complete tune up (chain, oil/air filter etc.) but I refuse to pay someone 70$ for something that I can do at home in less than a half hour for 20$. You dont need to take the fairings off but I take the left fairing off because 1, my oil pan is my car oil pan and to tall to fit under there with the fairing off and 2, because its so quick and easy to do and creates so much more room.

oil I get from wally world and oil pan that also stores it. I put my bike on a rear stand though.
walmart has a cheap pan that should fit under.

The one that I noticed was fork fluid leaking out, but there are a handful of other problems. I'd type 'em out, but I'm on my way out the door (someone else wanna jump on this? haha)

Has all the info for filter cross referencing.

Check it out. At wallyworld you are buying a car filter that fits our bikes
Thanks for the link

Something similar to this, but in green -

Of course, it's overkill, but I got it at work (Advance Auto), and my roomie and I use it on our cars, too, with room to spare.

Also makes it easier to sit underneath the bike, because it's not all that tall.

Rear stand helps, too, if anything it gives you more room and lets gravity do its job more efficiently

I used 10w40 after 2500-3000 miles and took off the right fairing.

Just a thought, but a friend of mine recently brought his bike to a shop to get the oil changed. The filter ended up coming off while he was going around a curve at a pretty good speed because it wasnt put on correctly. Its never good when the back tire gets soaked with oil, but he somehow managed to get it stopped without laying it down. Idk about you, but id rather do it myself so i know it was done right.
