Well i got a high mount micron installed on the f4i just the slip on nothing else no PC or nothing i took it out for about a 8-10 min run and got back and you could smell the warm exhaust is it normal to have that brake in smell but it is also cold out right now so that could be playing a factor the bike temp didnt get over 175 so thats good its just i smelt near the exhaust end and you could smell a burning aroma. Its all new to me so just making sure I know this sounds lame heh thanks

 

It is normal for some smoke to come out of the pipe for the first few miles. When they manufacture the slip on they use fiberglass packing material for sound deadener. To make it easier(I assume)to assemble they use plastic wrapped around the packing material. It will burn off within the first 30-50 miles or less I would imagine.
