What a bunch of immature asses. Y'all must have ADD. He said he upgraded from an F2, so obviously he's been riding for a little bit. Probly longer than me. Perhaps rewording his question might have induced more HELPFUL replies and less flaming, like "what kind of mods can I do to maximize the potential of my wonderful nused F4i?" Ain't we supposed to be helping each other, that is why we're all here right? for advice, whether its giving or taking. And I think someone has a "poser" complex. So all you flaming ******** shut the fck up, pull the dck outcha asses and go RIDE. And if you happen to see an F4i goin down the road with an M3 badge on it, just wave and keep goin.

What the hell is wrong with you guys?

He said he's been riding for a while, he's not inexperienced. He's unfamiliar with fuel injected bikes. What's your beef?

The ones who look like squids are the ones who are flaming him because he drives a BMW. Grow the f*ck up. He hasn't acted like a squid, just like someone who wants to enjoy his bike.

Could this possibly be the e36 BMW Guru Chad of bimmerfest???? How many other people could possibly own a supercharged XJ-R and an F3 lol. I'm also on bimmerfest (Ryans e39)...

ay mates, I love me a happy endin... even re-united an ol' couple..lol
in all earnest everyone, this bloke here got a hellaofa flammin for inquiring about his soon to be motorbike. I might be able to understand why, the way you ask questions here makes all the difference, and the squidish swagger in which you posted prompted all the nasty responses.

still, I'm sure this fella could use more input from all the knowledgable pple around here and, hopefully, help him make better informed, nay, educated decisions with his riddin, moddin, etc... flammin does little to help anyone, as entertaining it may be to read, lol, it does close to nothing but make pple look very bloody stupid.
btw buddy, the f4i is a bloody splendid motorbike, there's little to change to make this all round good bike better. plenty fast and nice lookin straight from the factory, showroom, whatever... trust.

couple functional mods i would recommend would be a corbin seat swap (easier on the **** for longer rides), and a double bubble or zero gravity or just a taller friggin wind screen to help kill the wind from knockin your helmet around.
an HID mod kit is also very good. Keep em f*ckin cagers from sayin "oh officer, that bloke just came out of no-where...."

hope the info helps. safe riddin.

p.s. lay off that "QUOTE" button friend...this whole thread looked like a six page long works sited page...

safe riddin

well other than what hangfire mentioned they do make cam kits and stiffer valve springs for the F4i which can give you a performance boost

although to go that far you'd need a pcIII with a custom map and probably some hotter plugs

you can also get a quick shifter, dynojet has one along with a few other companies

it's probably been mentioned but you can change sprockets to get either harder accel or more top end

but as stated previously i've never ridden with anybody that couldn't benefit more from track days or maybe a racing school than mods
maybe read Twist of the Wrist 1 & 2
