Need small projects for winter
I need some small stuff to do to my bike over the winter. It's too depressing to just walk by it every day and not do anything at all with it. I'm curious where you guys get that master cyclinder cover (the black box for the brake fluid, if that's what it's called) that is silver and says "F4i" on it I think that's cool. Also I'm trying to find some different grips, maybe something blue and black that says honda or F4i. I got about $150 in gift certificates to course superbikes so I'm going to see if they can order me an undertail and if not I'm going to get my first leather jacket and junk my textile one. =) I've got the '06 blue F4i, any suggestions or know where I can get those two things? I've looked on the sites that are sponsors to cbrforum.com and it doesn't seem like they sell much for fun accessories.

Ebay has a ton of things for the F4i. What all do you want to do? cosmetics, performance? If its stock I personally would do a slip on, undertail, flushmount front and rear turn signals to get started. Thats usually what i do to my bikes off the starts to give altitle better performance and clean up the lines of the bike.

eBay is your friend! Grips, covers, tanpads etc. can be found just by doing a search there and if nothing else can give you an idea of what is out there.
If you don't have them already, frame sliders are an excellentmod that is relatively easy to do yourself (search the site for some good "how to instructions"). Others to think about would be swapping out the stock windscreen for a double bubble or the like, bar ends, seat covers, flushmounts, mirrors, fairing mesh, headlight kits, etc. Of course, these are merely cosmetic. Remember that performance upgrades are going to be more work and or course more $$$. Good luck!

Well I have a sportech double bubble chrome windscreen and the hotbodies flushmounts and the blue rim striping (which will be gone when I get my rims powdercoated!) but I will check ebay. Thanks a lot guys. =) By the way what is the mesh fairing you were talking about? It sounds interesting. I'm going to be getting a rumble undertail and a micron blue/black exhaust with power commander but that has to wait until I have money again. The holidays cleaned out my checking. =(

upgrades are fun and look good, but I honestly think you should invest in some decent gear first. Not trying to rain on your parade but a good leather jacket is a much better investment (you just never know). Besides, itwill give you more time to check out other peoples mods to see what you really like, and save up for...instead of looking for ways to spend your money.
