Any help would be awesome!! I don't wanna buy a new speedo only to find out it was the ECU
I've readen that F4i's gauges has often loose solderings. Tear the gauges apart and check the main wire harness connections!

I have checked the main wire harness and they seem fine. It weird because I know the tach gets power because it does it check-sweep when i put the key in. Im thinking a sensor may of gone out? Maybe the ignition pulse sensor? Is that where the tach gets its reading?

mine would jump around all crazy while riding idle anything really, when i put the key it would jump to redline get stuck then go to 0 when the bike was running.. your problem sounds like a bad engine speed sensor or a loose connection somewhere. sounds like your tach is not the problem.

So, what's the word on that GSXR? Was it a worthwhile investment?
Your bike's looking pretty good, by the way. One thing you might consider doing is take a blow dryer or hot air gun to those warning stickers on the swing arm. Peel them off carefully and put them under your seat, on top of the fender, if you really want to keep them.

Get ride of the stickers good idea ,but i already bought one I'm gonna replace one of the the old warnings with I'll attach a pic. That's why i started this thread to get a look from the outside instead of what I'm seeing. As for the sprockets Im just waiting for my new swing arm stand to come in to do it. Think I'm going to try and do it with out taking off the chain. It was a pain in the *** to put on.

The GSXR is a 05 with 9,xxx miles, its my bro in-laws project he just bought last month, but they just found out they are moving so hes gonna sell it. he already got new fairing for it. so hes asking 2200 but im gonna talk him down to 1750
