Is my battery dead???
My bike sat for about 3 days with out a tender hooked up (keep in mind it started up fine 3 days ago too). I went to pull it out from garage and start it and it ticked and wouldnt start. Head lights were dim and flickered.
I used my neighbors harley to jump it and it started up great and stayed on. I did not ride it though to see if i can charge it though. After it was on for about 10 min, i shut it off and tried restarting it, and nothing. So im thinking its the battery.
If so , what battery is recommended? Thanks

Unless you left your key on there is a good chance that your battery is dead. 3 days is way too short for it to die. I would throw a charger on it and see if it will hold a charge and let it sit for another 3 days or so. If it won't hold a charge and after 3 more days if it still won't start then yes you need a new one. I have a Yuasa in my F4i and it is awesome. It is also like $160. I have a Bike Master in my RR which is bad so I have to buy a new one for that. I will probably go with Yusasa because they last a while.

I wouldn't go to Pep Boys. Been there done that got a battery that wasn't quite good enough after hours of searchjing. So I went to a local bike shop and picked up an OEM replacement. 96 dollars and a battery charge later my bike is running like a champ.....except for the blue flame it spits from the pipe... lol.
