Default MPG question?

ok comparing a 2000 f4 and f4i what is the difference in MPG?

my F4 got 50 before i geared it. no clue what an F4i gets...

well my f4i ranges anywhere from 38-52 depending on my riding. But I only achieved 52 doing an experiment to find my best mpg and it was painful. Like 6th gear at 35mph painful.

I owned an F4 and now own an F4i. I am not a "give a damn what my mileage" is kind of guy so I can't say for sure, but I am 99% sure the difference is negligible....

I'm a "I don't give a damn about my mileage" guy. But, when I first bought the bike three years ago I compared it with my car because I was going to ride the bike to work (80 miles/day). With some pretty spirited riding I got about 43mpg over the course of two tanks of gas.

Now that I know I don't care anymore. Haven't checked it since. I ride for the fun of it first and the economy of it second.

I get 45 MPG on my F4i almost all the time. I do a mixture of twisties (70%)and highway (30%).

Well when i stick to the speed limit i get closer to the 50 mark and when i am running it i will still get around 45.
