40 on my F4i, 40 on my 08 1000RR

 

I thought I was getting awesome mileage until I realize my speedo is so far off from doing a 520 conv.

 

I decided to test my gas mileage one day, so on my way BACK from work, I filled up and headed home (43 miles). I was going about 60-70 MPH and drafted behind a truck about 30 miles of the trip. When I got to the gas station near my house, I filled up and it was only 1.02 gallons. My bike is stock, except a Scorpion slip-on.

With gas skyrocketing, I kinda miss my 50+ MPG ninja 250
