Default 2005 F4i

Hey guys i am going up to the dealership to hope fully buy a 2005 F4i with 3300miles. I talked them down from 57 to 5100 out the door. They said the bike had been layed down on the left side but the frame sliders took the weight, so i am hoping there isnt any big scratches. What do you guys think for year and price. No other mods have been done.

You go and check it out in person? Ride it? They have maintenance records?

I would say its a decent price if the bike is sound, they should throw a warranty in. I would show them 45, 100 dollar bills and see what they say. If not walk out, they may accept.

Price seems kinda high for a bike thats beendown andin this horrible economy its a buyers market. You mightget some quotes for new oem body panels touse it as leverage to talk them down. For example, if the left lower is scratched up you could say "I don't know, a new lower is $500".

Re-reading your original post, there is no way you have ridden the bike. I would go check the bike out in person.
