Default 2005 RR vs 2005 R6

i just had the chance to ride a friend's 05 R6 for a good distance on the expressway and noted the differences. the R6 turns in much easier, less effort than my 05 RR. but i love all the leaning on the RR. riding on the R6 was very smooth, felt like i was 'floating' not really feeling like i was on a bike, but on my RR i feel well planted on the road. the r6 felt cushy, more like made for the road and the rr more towards the track. anybody else notes likes dislikes comparing the 2? he immediately liked that the rr 'felt lighter'. he wants a1kRR. i still love my 600 RR.

Well, my comment here would be suspension. Turn in and things like that can be affected by your suspension settings, especially if the bike isn't set up specifically to you. Perhaps that would zero in the two and make them closer for comparison?
