Motorcycle Courtesy Wave
Hey is a little story about the hand wave to the cops. I live here in the PNW and there is 2 count them a whole 2 bike cops that patrol the i-5 corridor that i ride to work everyday.
Well i always wave to them and laugh a little as i pass because they usually got someone pulled over. On the off chance that they are not writing they will wave back.
Here come the brownie points back in my favor.
I am running late for work and doing 90 in a 60 with traffic flowing at an even but steady pace of 70. I come flying round a corner were they are usually sitting at and bam
there they are. The cop looks at me shrugs his arms cause i know and he knows that he got me dead to rights. He waves me on and pulls the car next to me over.
After that day i will always wave to those 2 nice cops that will pull the moron in the car over first then pull the "reckless biker" over.

I've noticed 'busa riders are jack-a's pretty often.. Like 95% of the time i wave to another sportbike, I get a wave back, except when it's a 'busa. When i wave to them I get about a 35% returned wave.. I don't get it
Not trying to dis all the 'busa riders or anything though.. It must be that since they have a 1300cc bike, they think they're too cool to wave or something..
The last guy I saw on a busa. I was in my car. I saw the bike coming and was making eye sex
with the custom paint on it. He turned and looked my way, then he cracked a wheelie and rode it out til I couldnt see him anymore

I don't know how to wave to bikes when I'm in my car though, without feeling like a fool. I feel that I should, but they won't know I ride.
