Default Metzeler M1???

I'm thinking about getting a set of these Metzeler M1's. What do you guys think about them. I only ride street, no track. Thanks.

Thanks for the input guys. Cycle Gear has them for $169.00 a pair right now online. They had a special on Diablo's but they sold out of them already. Tax + shipping comes to around $190.00. That's cheaper than anywhere else I've found. Thanks again for the help.

Go for it. I have been through two rear M1s and one front M1. Excellent performance and they warm up VERY quickly. I'm still just a novice rider but the Metzelers are awesome. I had some Dunlops when I first bought my F4i, they didn't feel like I could trust them as much as the M1s. Just my 2 cents worth.

Oh, you may want to look into the M-3 line from Metzeler, the tire life is supposed to be superior than the M1. My rear tire lasted about 4000 miles max on Florida roads,(straight and flat). [sm=tongue.gif]
