Sounds like a pretty good diagnosis. The main headlight connection is under the left intake / intake cover, near where the side and top fairings join.

Glad to hear your ok. I had woodcraft sliders on my first bike and they saved my bike a few times. as much as i don't want to put them on my f4i i know how i like to ride and will probably end up doing so just to keep her safe. good luck w/ the repairs!

Glad your okay dude, hope everything works out with the bike. Just like swetty mentioned sliders are your best friends!!
