RE: Low sided for the first time...
I took the MSF course a few years back when I was 17.Gave me a lil CB 125, 20mph on that thing felt like 55 sinceittook so long to get there.haha. A few people failed the class when I took it -almost everyone put their foot down in the figure 8 and took to long to accelerate and swerve. I missed3 points for taking .33 secs too long around the final curve.
You can do the figure eight with an f4i btw. Just have to go slow, use the clutch to moderate speed, and get your butt far off the seattowards the outside of theturn - just like the course says.Nothing better than being able to turn around in a driveway and take off before your buddy is half way done duck walking his bike around.

i had fun in my MSF course last year. I'm 6'3" and 240 lbs, riding a Buell Blast 500. You couldnt really see the bike under me. Kinda funny riding a bike that weighs only a little more than I do.

Mine kept stalling out on me... while it was in neutral [:@]. The msf program only provided 87 octane.... the Blast's manual says to run 93... at least according to one of the instructors. Actually, the bike is one of the only reasons I had points when I took my test... the f**king thing stalled out on me when I was in the U-turn box (coming around the first half of the second turn)... I ended up having to put my foot down (better than dropping the bike and failing), and ended up touching the line (which they counted as going outside the box). Beyond that, the only points I got were when I failed to turn my head enough during the long turn thing (Maybe I'm wrong, but do you really need to turn your head at a right angle to see where you're going?)
