I haven't been able to find out much about this anywhere, but does anyone make a single sided swing arm for the latest body style F4i's? I have an '06

Something about that if not done right the force of the wheel would cause it to pop off and axle and if the tire is not 100% lined up right your in for a world of hurt..

Isn't that true for just about everything we do to our bikes? Of course there's risk in doing something incorrectly... but the same is true if you don't install your brakes properly, mount tires correctly, install a new drive chain the way it should be, etc.

I don't think it's a "bad idea" at all. I like the look of the single sided swing arm. BUT, I have yet to see someone make one for an F4i. Shoot, have you seen a "fat tire kit" for an F4i? It's not the type of bike that manufacturers (of custom parts) think they'll make a lot of money off of. For that you need a Busa or a "14".

If done correctly and professionaly there is NOTHING wrong with a single sided swingarm Im getting one done for my bike right now hopefully I will have it back soon, modified for direct bolt on and chromed. anyone who says its not safe shouldnt on a bike anyway or just has no clue about this topic.

Im not trying to sound like a jerk but I dont want someone getting the wrong idea about a safety issue where it doesnt excist.

If someone can tell me how to post a pic here I will post a pic of a single sided 954 and a pic of my single sided swing arm before being dropped off at the shop.

Or just email me for a pic Leniroc@aol.com
