Default Loosening chain for winterizing?

Hey guys I know it's a little late to be asking this question but it's my first year that I had to winterize a bike and was curious if it is bad that I did not loosen my chain to avoid it from warping through the winter months...I spin the tire every once in awhile so that the chain isn't sitting in the same position and I lube it up everyonce in awhile...is it ok that I am doing this or should I loosen the chain and save myself problems down the road and money?

You're fine....

All I do is throw some sea-Foam in the tank towards the end of fall and try to run it for 10 minutes or so to get it worked through the system....

^yeah, for a full winterize, you're totally wrong, but depending on how long it's stored, where you live, and so on, it's fine.

But you don't have to loosen the chain, I've ridden mine twice, and had no issues so far. If you're spinning it and lubing it, you'll be fine.

Exactly, If its adjusted properly it doesnt make a bit of sense to loosen it. Also if its parked and lubed with a quality chain lube it shouldnt need any attention to the chain.
