Default Looking for some input, i want to do this instead of a part out

i just picked up an 03 f4i from my girlfriends dad, its set up 100% for track use. The only bad thing about it is that the frame is cracked up by the head tube. I was going to part out my f4i and just keep my frame and use that. Instead of parting out it out, i was thinking about selling everything for one price, kinda like a complete bike minus the frame and front fairing. i was thinkin like $2500 bucks for everything. i think thats a more then fair price, buy a frame with a title for a couple hundred and a front fairing and you have a damn nice f4i for under 3 grand...well let me know what you guys think.

frame is the bling part of the equation, plus having to put all that back together once you get it is a pita...
i think you're better off just parting it all out.

i dont have room to store a third bike, let alone all the parts. thats the why i want to sell it all as one. i dont want to have to rent out a storage garage just to part it out

you could always buy a new frame for $895.41 and keep her

you can try to cragslist it or e-bay it, but i dunno if you'd have much luck. if storage space is a problem, well, might need to get more storage until she's all gone. personally i think you'll have more luck parting it out...

+1 on buying a frame. I hear there are a few frame repair shops. Doesn't GMD Computrack do that kind of work?

worth a shot. there are some people who enjoy the work that would go into rebuilding a bike like that.

I just dont understand whywouldyou take apart a good f4i, sell all the parts and put the frame on a track bike?
If you want to have a track bike, just buy a new frame for that bike as mentioned above, or better yet buya salvage title frame for half the price.

But the way you are explaining the situtation, this is how this sounds:
" I have a stolen F4i that i cant use, and i want to part it out, but parting peice by piece takes a long time, and risky. its better if some one buys the whole thing with out the frame ofcourse, couse that has the vin on it" . I'm sorry if im wrong about this.

you're wrong B...
it should be..."I have TWO stolen F4is...but i like one better than the other...so i want to part out the one i don't like as much............................................"

muahahahahahhahaha...

not to be rude...but STOP BEING LAZY AND JUST TAKE THE DAMN THING APART...what's up with homies posting up things like...

"hey...should i get the red one or black one?"..."black? but red matches my panties better".
