Default Lock and Chain

I just got a new used bike 2005 Honda CBR600F4i and bought an ABUS chain and lock as well as a Xena disc lock. My question is... Where do I store it while I'm riding?

you leave it tied to whatever it was tied to...then hope you get the same spot when you come back...for the disk lock, put it under the seat, in your bag, or pocket..

Well, you can not use it, and lock the steering when you park it. And forget about the chain.

I actually keep my OnGuard cable lock and disc lock in my backpack while I'm riding. If you only have to have a backpack to hold those, you can always use a cargo net and leave your backpack under it tied down to the rear of your seat.
