Greetings all, still a newbie. Got a few questions. Does anyone know of a decent looking aftermarket turn lamp for the 04 F4i that is "legal", or at least one that looks good and is bright as hell? Also looking for an exhaust system that will replace my center pipe (the one with the CC in it) and is loud as well. Tired of the stock sewing machine sound.

Undertails/Tail conversions, good/bad/ugly, opinions pix, thoughts

Finally, any riders in the NW Washington/Oregon area? Looking for new riding partners (left all mine in San Diego). Also knowlege of any good roads to carve would be great. I am in Oak Harbor.

i am in oak harbor as well. i have a nice group that i ride with, give me a call @ 360-720-9072. my name is anthony. i ride a 02 F4i, and my group rides an 05 F4i, 04 600RR, 03 954RR, 02 SV650, 03 Gixxer 6, and a few others, that was just a few of them. let me know, i am down to ride whenever.

also, there alot done to my F4i, so anything you want to do, we have done it already.

 

Well, had a good ride yesterday, and an interesting one today. I guess I picked up a nail yesterday in the front, which caused it to go flat. Well I timed the leak to about 1 psi per min. and with my wife, limped on out to Mt Vernon with several air stops. Got a new D208 on the front but due to lack of funds will get the rear done nest week, along with the 8k service. instead of buying new tires, I was almost talked into trading in for and 05 RR, the only thing that really stopped me was that damn little piece of metal around my finger that acts as a homing beacon. I am looking at trading out my 04 tail end with an 03. Found a sub frame for auction starting at like $15. Gonna put on a fender eliminator, and find some bright *** lights to replace everything. I have been working on an idea to integrate some turn signals into the front cowling and glass over the original holes. I will post on when this pipe dream becomes a reallity.

 

I feel for ya man. There was a stretch where I went through 3 sets of tires in 3 months due to nails.
