ok i am stumped here i am trying to figuer out how to get the stock license plate bulb out so i can replace it. also what size bulb is it in the stock houseing. If anyone has some pictures that would be great to.

To expand a little on the diagram which Jeff posted. You need to remove the license plate/tail light assembly by removing the two attachment bolts from the underside of the fender. After removal, you can disassemble the light by removing the two screws at the back of the housing. Reassemble in reverse order.

 

Good, I have an undertail with LED license bolt lights so I wasn't sure on the disassembly of that bracket.

 

OP, sorry, forgot to give you the bulb designation: 3157. Easy to find. If ones gone out, replace them both, it will save you time from doing the other down the road.
