Default Frame Sliders

I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I'm new. Why is it that the frame sliders that require no fairing modification are not as good than the ones that do require fairing modification? I seems logical that a slider that replaces the rearmost bolt on the fairing ( still mounted directly on the frame) would work just fine? I am new to this so if you could shed some light on this that would be great.

Start by reading Ern's response in this thread... https://cbrforum.com/forum/f4i-main-...liders-135205/.

Then, do quick searches on *Frame Sliders* & you'll get lots of threads describing the benefits of doing it right by using cut/drill sliders.
