Default Launching, -1+2 geared

So i finally launched her hard off a stop light tonight after doing -1 +2 sprocket change over the winter. I've been riding with it for about a month but with the on and off cold weather I have been rather gentle. Coming out of the light, slipping the clitch at about 9 grand the front got real light real quick. short shifted to second at 10,000 rpms and my mind is wondering why the steering is so light? I shut it down at about 60 indicated (no speedo healer yet) and realized that the front had been off the ground the entire time. I was riding with my roomate on his harley, he said the front wheel got off the ground about 10 feet after the line and stayed about a foot off the ground as i continued to accelerate through 2nd gear. So far I've liked the gearing change, and I have notice a nice change around town in the low end. I have the stock exhaust on so it's not buzzy on the highway either. IMO this was definitely worth it, next is stainless brake lines.
