knocked over bike, now won't start and oil leak
ORIGINAL: Streetdemon
Sounds like oil probably got into your airbox. I'd pull the tank and clean out the airbox for excess oil.
The click is your starter and the buzz is your fuel pump. Your Bank Angle Sensorisnot the culpritor the fuel pump would not be working. Sounds like your not getting a spark. The plugs may be fouled from oil entering the top end.

It is not cranking at all!
Did the gear shift lever get bent? If so it could be the neutral sensor. It also could be that the stator cover is jammed against the stator. I would see if it would push start. First put it in 6th gear and push slowly to make sure the stator isn't jammed. If not push start it, if it starts then troubleshoot all electrical circuits related to the starter.
how does the oil mannage to get inside the airbox? past the manifold, valves and piston rings?
possible that your bike is flooded but it should have cleared days ago, unless you have like half of liter of oil in your cyliders.
seriously, put the bike in gear and push it and see if the stator/motor/tranny is binding.

oh dude, i think you have an electrical issue. there is a short or a poor ground some where.
some times it can be in the head light harness, turn signals, even inside the handle bar lights controller.
if a pins break off or the wire snaps off you would see the gauge display exactly that.
if you want to bypass this electrical issue just to see if the bike will start up, take out the head light fuse and if your bike starts up then you def have a wiring issue.

it's your wiring harness. everyone seems to be having problem with it.
step 1) unplug the headlight fuse. bike should fire right up. if the bike fires up with the headlight fuse out, proceed with the instructions below
step 2) take the front fairng off. you don't have to remove the side farings. in the front wiring harness, you'll see main connection pins. unplug it.

the grounding pin is corroded (connected to the green wire).
step 3) scrub it down with a wire brush and spray some electrical lube on it.

now ya'll might be thinking what this has to do with a tipped over bike.
the answer: absolutely nothing. The wiring on the 01-03 sucks up front. i did an oil change on my bike and that's what made my bike fail. just a little vibration knocked the pin loose.
gurenteed fix. i'll put money on it. any takers?
overconfident? maybe... but i have yet to see a case where this fix doesn't work.
