key lock?

key lock?
So as long as I have owned the bike I haven't been able to easily put my key in the shaft. It always seems to catch or something. It's no big deal I usually just wiggle the key around and it goes in.
But then I never noticed that I could lock my steering by pushing the key in and turning it all the way to the left.
But I tried to do that and I can't get it to turn all the way to the left. It will start to turn but then it stops and the steering still turns freely and i can't get my key out unless i turn it back to off
what can i do? or just take it to a locksmith?

a couple of things you'll need to do/check:
1: your key could be bent? hahaha!
2: spray some WD-40 inside the ignition, and then put the key in and out until it lubricates all the way.... hehe...
3. wiggle your steering wheel while try turning the key left at the same time, sometimes the hole isn't perfectly intersecting the lock shaft....
i can't take this! why does everything especially key problems has to do with that!
anyways! let us know what have you done so far, a keysmith won't be able to do anything because the ignition key is highly secured....
