I went with some valvoline 10-40 4stroke partial synthetic oil that says on the front safe for wet clutch. I'm going to switch to full synthetic for the next oil change but since the miles are so low I didnt want to yet to make sure everything seated. purolater filter. and some chain lube time to get busy

I took the day off yesterday to ride. Instead I spent 7 hours trying to get the bike running. After draining all of the gas and wire brushing all the spark plugs i finally got it running. But now I have a solid FI light. Suggestions on how to go about this issue? I searched FI LIGHT but it said no results were found. I find that hard to believe.

How is it running? i just bought my 03 f4i (6000 miles) after it was sitting for almost 4 years, got it running, but fi light was on and ran like ****. Smelled gas, stuttered and shut off at idle. i changed the fuel pressure regulator and now it runs like it never sat.

I rode it 160 miles yesterday with out a single hiccup. Runs like a champ, wish that light would stay off though.
