Hey guys, Im really stumped here, and hoping someone can help.
Around a month ago my headlights started turning on and off, and after soldering the cables in the ignition switch twice, i decided to replace it.
Installed it last night, bike started fine after install (before tightening up everything) then once again after tightening all the screws and it started and ran just fine. This morning i try to start her to go to work, i turn the ignition, the pump primes, engine cranks, all the necessary lights turn on but it wont fire. Checked Fuel 1/4 tank, checked all connections, disconnected & reconnected them,checked fuses, charged the battery (died while trying to start it), visually inspected everything, NO DICE. The bike always ran great, around 45-50 mpg, no smell of gas, never any hesitation or sputtering and fires up within one sec of hitting the starter. HELP !!!! PLEASE !!!! This is my ride to work, and everywhere else. I don't own a car and need it running.
