Unhappy FIXED ignition, bike wont start!!!

hi all

I got another problem.I got a used ignition off E bay , have fixed it and its working well.it can switch on the functional lights and switch them off, however the bike will not start. I left the bike with fuel exactly 2 months ago as i was sourcing for a new ignition. Fuel is still in the tank. What might the problem be?...the battery has adequate fluid..i tried jumpstarting the bike with another vehicle it just did not turn.am thinking it should turn even if the battery is dead and flat.there is a moderate frequency repetitive sound emanating from the battery region though each time i try to start her.help me i want to ride!!!

Wonder if your starter relay solenoid got fried at the same time your ignition switch conked out ,or it may simply be that by itself from the beginning, looking to the front of the bike from rear it's to the right of the battery box

You can jump the soleniod to see if the engine starts to crank, too see if you need to replace the soleniod. Make sure you have power going to it.
