i got a M4 high mount slip-on, on my 04 f4i, and it seems to idle too high. after she warms up it idles at like 1000-1500 even after riding it for a while it still stays up there. i didnt think a slip on would affect anything,am i goin to need to get a power comander or something??

 

If I remeber correctly the idle should be at about 1250. (just looked it up..1300 plus or minus 100)

You can adjust your idle with with the idle control **** located on the left hand side of your bike (it shows where the exact location is in your manual)

 

just adjust your idle.
you don't need a pc3 to run the slip on, but if you want to get the most of your investment, you should get one. will run a bit better, but i'm not sure if it's $250 better.
