So i was having some trouble getting my bike to start. After playing with the choke for a bit i gave the idle **** a few turns still wouldn't start so i really started to play with it. I finally got it to turn on but i nearly blew my engine the idled so high.

Problem is im afraid ill turn it the wrong way and really blow it. Which way is it to turn it down?

 

CCW to lower the idle speed.

jeez how much did you turn it... i didnt know you could turn up the idle that high to even blow the motor

 

o ya, same thing happened to me. i just got so fed up with it not starting so i turned it all the way and forgot about it. when it did get it started it scared the **** out of me. so ya that is a lessoned learned.
