Default Identify this part please!

Came from under the rear seat, I know it goes to the lock assembly just not sure where at? Pics of yours would help, or if you know where along the lines it goes.

Ignore that previous comment it works now. It looks kind of like the trunk release holder. Do you have an undertail kit on the bike?

Maybe I'm an idiot right now but I honestly don't see where the hell it goes or what it even does. Here's how my setup looks. Where the key goes is free floating right now, the seat still seems to lock in place.

It should be holding this piece in place, but it looks like you bypassed it somehow? If you can still unlock it, you should be fine.

it holds the other end of the trunk release cable to the stock undertray (whtan20 i believe you have the wrong one circled). you dont need it with an undertail, at least not on mine either

Thanks guys, it just bugged the crap out of me cause it was so simple looking and I couldn't even see where it was mounted up to! Ah well, guess I'll just put it in my stash of "stock F4i parts"
