Default RE: I love my new power commander

I think bwayers is right when it comes to most bikes and it sounds like he's been around them more than most.

The PCIII is not really a power adder as much as people expect them to be. Not like the Superchips programmer for your Camaro or the Edge setup for a Duramax. PCIII's are meant to allow easy adjustments for proper engine tuning and a whole assortment of race applications that most riders never get into. The name powercommander is a little suggestive but its catchier thanvariable air/fuel adjustment module interface, still a great and necessaryproduct.

Funny thing is there is a ****load of fuel programmer companies for cruisers especially Harleys. There has to be 8 different ones I can think of right now.

also, with power commanders you'll notice on their website that there may be 10 or so maps for any given sport bike but there will be **** loads for every harley that has fuel injection

that's not because they don't care about us but because of the larger scope of mods available for street use with those bikes

99% of sport bikes on the road will usually only receive a can and a k&n
