Default I feel bad making posts in here..

Cause everything seems like its been posted 1000+ times, without search.

I think i have something a little different

I've been snooping around a bit looking to get a 520 conv. kit for my bike. However, I'm having a hardtime finding Vortex kits with 48T rear sprockets.

Am I looking in the wrong places? I don't know many bike stores online so help me out

Thanks

Why would you wanna downgrade to a 520 kit. A 525 kit would be stronger.

520 saves you a little weight I guess and with only a 600 it don't make a difference in the strength your not gunna break it

I just installed a vortex front and rear sprocket with an RK XSO Chain...got the kit for $159 shipped... they can get you any sprocket combo you want(within reason).. give them a call...sum of all parts (512) 416-1800 tell them what you want...They ship fast as long as they have the parts in stock

Hope this helps...

It is cheaper, and where I am at it seems to be more in stock with local dealers that the 530 or 525. If ordered online though price would be the only factor really. Most of us probably don't ride in a way that with it being a little less in tension it really doesn't matter anyway.
