Jared's 04 is well over 175,000 miles. He's nuts.

The current owner is an older guy and said it was never stunted so I should be good. Thanks for all of the replies. Looks like I'll be headed to the bank soon.

The 1 mile that seizes the engine is too many.

My '04 is at 177,428 miles... still ran like brand new! I am having to put a new engine in it, unfortunately, but it's not because anything went wrong with the engine by it's own fault, but because of a wreck it got damaged when it got hit by a curb, cracked the case and bent the crankshaft. Was still running absolutely perfect though!

We tore the engine down this past Saturday.... the machinist I took it to kept asking... "are you sure this engine has never been rebuilt??". It was absolutely spotless inside, and showed virtually zero signs of any wear whatsoever. All bearings were perfect, all crank and rod journals were perfect, still had perfect crosshatch on all 4 cylinder walls. Could not find anything that could show the engine was even used, much less 177k miles of use.

Take that for what it's worth.....

Jared, you truly are the man. I'd ride with you any day. You have seriously racked up some miles.

So with all those miles under your belt, what has been your favorite tire for the front and rear?

I'd like to make a coffee table book of single question interviews with single forum posters... "Why?"
