High sided last night...

i low sided about 2 months back and yes the frame sliders were a MIRACLE. they saved my entire fairing from rash.....now my tail--thats a different story, cracked and rashed, but they saved my *** on the big fairings

I would have thought a bike would have sliced right through a cat without much trouble. You sure that wasn't a mountian lion? haha.

Well, atleast you have an interesting war story now.

Glad you made it outta that situation.

+1 on slicing that cat... my friend said he hit an armidillo and came away ok, but holy crap... I must have been haulin' *****... honestly I don't remember how fast I was going... could've been 80... I was in a pissy mood and was driving in anger at the moment... =P

holy crap... yeah. that's the first thing I did, then I poured rubbing alchol on it.... *PAIN* then I went to the ER the next morning and got X-rays, a shot, and my wounds cleaned out, it really sucked. Now my left knee is steal swollen, might have to get it drained... [sm=outcold.gif]

ouch! good to hear ya came out in one piece...... make sure you ice up that knee, and pop some motrin to get all that swelling down...
I saw that you had your garb on, I kinda do the same thing, jacket, gloves, helmet, boots,,and then we ruin it with jeans?
I think I'm going to invest in some riding pants this season.

get better, good luck with the bike, I dont know where your located but I have a stock exhaust you can have if you need one, I'm in philadelphia

Riding in the wrong frame of mind is a dangerous proposition. I remember getting flaming pissed at my wife and getting on the bike. I realized I could not pay attention, and wheeled the bike back into the garage. The feeling in my gut told me I had no business being on a motorcycle at the time. I am glad you have the potential to be healthy, but make sure you are mentally ready to be on that deathtrap...you always needall your faculties!
