Default high-sided the bike...* TAIL LIGHT NOT WORKING PLZ HELP!!!

i had my bike sitting in front of my fraternity house all day, and i go to move it tonight so that i dont get a ticket in the morning. i accelerate and brake a little to make a right turn. the rear tire locks up and i fly off the bike. i was only going about 10 mph, but the left side fairing is rashed and now it's making a grinding sound when i ride. any ideas what it might be? i 'm taking it to a shop on tuesday... so upset right now...

im good. im actually really lucky. i wasnt wearing any gear, cuz my DD was rushing me to go to a party, and only had to go about 50 yards to the motorcycle parking area. worst thing is that it happened in front of about 10 really hot girls [&:]. the kickstand looks like its not going up all the way. im pretty sure the engine is fine, theres only a grinding/vibration when the bike is moving. the grinding and vibration is coming from the left rearset. hopefully its nothing serious.

lol. thanks for the sympathy[8D]. i looked at the bike just now and the left rearset was hitting the chain i straightened it out a little so that it doesn't hit anymore and it rides fine. im gonna replace it just to be safe though. im glad it happened now instead of on a brand new bike. the paint on it didnt look that great on it anyways, so its not that big of a deal. maybe i'll ask for a paint job for christmas.

i just noticed that my tail light isnt working now. the license plate light still works though. i know it's not the tail light because the actuator for my truck release is powered by the tail light as well, and that doesnt work either. all the fuses are fine (the ones under the front seat) are there any other fuses i should check? any ideas?
