OK so I was looking at high mount exhausts and I was wondering if they remove the passenger foot pegs, also what about their legs? How intense will they feel the heat or het burned? Thanks

 

Before I bought the dan moto exhaust, my gf came to visit for about a month and we rode around on my bike in 100 degree weather here in bakersfield. After a while she would start wearing her high top converse because the exhaust would burn her leg, my jardine would go over the passenger seat pegs so her right leg would literally have like an inch max to put her foot on it. She said she got burned a few times when we went through the twisties.

I have a high mount on my '02, and you cant get extensions and longer bolts so you can put the pegs on the outside of the highmount. Obviously by doing so the right leg would stick out an extra few inches then the left but the height position would be the same, and no burnt legs.

 

i think high mount looks pretty *****, but if the wife got burned that would not turn out very well....
