What state are you from?
I know in my state they could care less.
And if they give you crap you can say its a "Safety modification"
See if they give you **** for that. I doubt they will. "increases visability"

Delaware. Pretty strict inspection policy here. They give me **** for my car all the time - too loud, tinted windows, windshield banner, catalytic converters, blacked out side markers, I could go on forever.
