So I had my 04 f4i for few months now and the Neutral light does not turn on. I bought the bike like this from a guy and it has not bothered me much until recently. I'm trying to see why the light does not come on when switched to Neutral. I know the light works, beacuse the only time it lights up is when I turn the key and it does the light check. What should I do, guys? Help me out here.

 

Check the neutral safety switch.

 

is it the one on the kickstand? i've replaced the whole kickstand assembly yesterday and it did not help.

 

update: my f4i was missing the diode located in the fuse box. bought one from bike bandit and now it works perfectly.
