Default Help mounting front fairing

I bought my 03 used and immediately took it all apart to fix it up. I finally started putting it all together again, but I'm stuck at the front fairing. The headlight was damaged, so I'm not real sure if all the mounting tabs are there or if the last owner epoxied them in the right place. The part I'm confused about is how it mounts to the upper fairing bracket (the piece the speedo is mounted to). There are 2 holes in that bracket with rubber bushings and 2 tabs on the headlights that match up with those holes, but what attaches them together? There is nothing in the manual that says to remove bolts at that point when disassembling, so I'm a bit confused. Thanks!

p.s. If you have pics, that would be even better.

The two plugs on the headlight go into the fairing stay, they don't bolt on to anything. The main screws holding the fairing on are the ones that go through the mirrors into the fairing stay.

yeah that bracket only attaches to the front fairing with the mirror screws, the only other screws into the front bracket are the 2 for the air duct coverings, the 3 on each side into the side fairings and the two screw button things underneath by the air intakes

Speaking of which. How hard to you think it'd be to heat up a stay and bend it back into shape? Reason being I don't feel like shelling out 100 bucks for a new one, when for less than half that I can do use some elbow grease.
