224-228 is when the fan kicks on. are you hotter than that?

220 here.

Hoses, sensor, thermostat. But if the coolant isn't recirculating, maybe the pump is screwed up, maybe the radiator is plugged with impellor bits and pieces. How do the hoses feel and look? does the suction side suck closed? I am just guessing so don't take anything apart due to my response because I am a functional retard when it comes to this mechanical stuff.

How many miles on the bike?

check the fan fuse, and if thats good, the temp switch for the fan is on the bottom left side of the radiator. unplug the single wire that goes to it, and then jump that to the wire that is grounded to a bolt right above the switch. if it turns on, then your switch is bad.

anything over 230 isn't normal. fuse, coolent level, hoses, thermostat, pump... in that order.

hey, after you check out the fan fuse. look if the fan is properly connected. once in a rare while the connector disconnects from the harness.
