Default Overheating

Some issues with my 1995 F3!

The bike over-heats extremely fast and brings the coolant to a boil. Also, I'm not sure if this matters either but if you rev the engine and let it drop off a cloud of oil smoke comes out of the exhaust.

Help?

First things I'd check are the thermostat, fan and fan temp sensor.

Is there coolant in your oil? Check dip stick

is your coolant filled to the correct level? if not then youll get air bubbles and the engine wont cool down and cause what coolant there is to boil.

Yes, it is.

Water pump is not leaking or anything, is there any possibility it just isn't circulating fluid?

Way back when..........when I got my "crashed, insurance totalled F2" that I rebuilt for CCS racing, I only had 585 miles on it when I got it. I raced it for only 3 or 4 weekends and it started over heating very quickly. It had plenty of water in it, no air bubbles, and the thermostat worked fine. Replaced the water pump. Problem solved.

Pull your sparkplugs and check for signs of coolant on them. Look for white crystal like build up, or wet (like water wet, not fuel). All the plugs should look relitively the same, so compare them closely. I'm thinking you might have a head gasket issue, leaking into a cylinder(s) instead of out where its visible.

+1 to dragons comment, had a car do this, gasket went between the coolant lines and the cylinder, hot exhaust from the compression stroke entered the coolant and started to boil it within minutes, no leaks or mixing with oil, auto parts store will sell you a tester to test your coolant for exhaust gases, dead giveaway for head gasket, best of luck
